Although this is really cool ... I'd urge you to stop because HOLY HELL THIS IS DANGEROUS. The possibility of you A) Blowing yourself up B) Getting Shrapnel in you is really high unless you really know what your doing (Even then, its super dangerous). Consider using a metal/Cardboard case and some software to help you sim the motor beforehand and Using anywhere close to a single gram of BP is overkill for that rocket (see some online calculators). On the legal front, I'm certainly not an expert, But I do know that any motor over 62.5g of rocket propellent is classified as a High Powered Motor and you need a level 1 licence to use.
